In 1970 Karen Carpenter recorded “We’ve Only Just Begun” a song played for numerous weddings. In 2004 a new song was written “I DO” Expressing a hint of diversity that Same Sex couples experience in society, "I DO" expresses True Commitment and Love. See below what has been said about “I DO.”
Allen
Bergum and William J. Adams, Morrisville, PA 2006"Everything
was perfect and the song caught everyone's heart. I had so many
questions about where I found that music. Questions from everyone
no matter what their orientation. I don't know what it is myself,
but it just seems to touch or grab the heart of anyone nearby
and bring them closer. So it is more than just music, somehow
a bit of magic was woven into that song. At one point the dance
floor was getting pretty empty and I asked the DJ to slip in "I
DO" and when it started we looked around and the dance floor
was filled, they all said that they were drawn to the music. So
I join what must be hundred or thousands of others with my thanks."
Bev
and Linda - Canada - July 31, 2005 "We used the
song "I DO" at our wedding last year and it had the
guests in tears. We love the song and cherish it as one of our
memories. We had a couple this year wanting to use it at their
wedding, it was a man and woman, everyone loved it too!"
Thank you for making such a beautiful song."
Bob
Harris 2007 "I
happened onto it by accident while searching site for gay weddings
Maui. Within seconds of listening to it I knew that it was perfect
for our trip to Maui in June with our children and grandchildren
to help us celebrate our 27 years together in a commitment ceremony.
Thanks so much for this beautiful, poignant song!
